Jefferson Street Paving Project - Completed

This project, which is slightly over one mile in length, is now complete.  The asphalt road surface was milled and replaced.  Most crosswalks were replaced and spot repairs were made to some driveway approaches and sections of curb/gutter.  

Jefferson Street is a major collector road that serves local neighborhoods, schools, and churches.  Average daily traffic along this roadway ranges from 1,050 to 3,100 vehicles.  Based on a 2016 pavement condition evaluation, Jefferson Street is in the 2nd lowest possible rating category.
