- Operation of City's wastewater treatment plant.
- Their current combined design average daily flow is 2.1 MGD with capability to treat peak flow of 3.8 MGD using an activated sludge plant process.
- Wastewater collection/treatment is governed by the rules and regulations of the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
