TRI-COUNTY HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN

The Tri-County Regional Planning Association along with its consultant, Dewberry, and a steering committee has concluded its work on creating a draft Tri-County Hazard Mitigation Plan.  The draft plan updates the 2004 plan for Peoria , Tazewell, and Woodford Counties .  It will help the cities and counties to better understand local hazards and risks, build support for mitigation activities, obtain post-disaster grants, and to better protect the area residents.  Please submit any comments or questions on this plan to Jon Oliphant at joliphant@ci.washington.il.us by August 20.
